Proposals for the CalChess Open Championships

The CalChess Board of Directors has received two different proposals for organizing the 2009 CalChess Open Championships, and we are currently reviewing and discussing each.

If there are any other organzers who are interested in the rights for the 2009 CalChess Open Championship, please send your proposals to CalChess President Tom Langland at tom@calchess.org by 5:00pm Friday, June 19th.

We are currently looking to hold a meeting of the CalChess Board on the weekend of June 27th (or 28th). If an online vote is not taken prior to that meeting, an in-person discussion (and vote) will be taken at that meeting.
